A young woman with a baby and a broken nose suddenly jumps out of a taxi, leaving her baby inside the car, and throws herself off the bridge in Belgrade.

This suicide attempt will connect the lives of the three witnesses: Gavrilo, the taxi-driver, a Bosnian refugee who tries to avoid any kind of emotional commitment but that never leaves the baby alone; the high school teacher Anica, stubbornly rejecting the attentions of one of her students; and the wacky pharmacist Biljana, who realizes that the man she's about to marry isn't “the one” and runs away...

"The woman with a broken nose" talks about this people that survive everyday bearing a wound from the past, a trauma they haven't yet found the courage to face, but aspiring to love and understanding, believing in the magic of this chance encounters.

It is about a deeply human fight against solitude, and to achieve that our desires and aspirations will become true.
