Natanaël will soon be 7, but he still can't read. When his aunt Eléonore leaves him her library packed with hundreds of books, Natanaël is understandably disappointed! However, each tale holds a delightful secret. At nightfall the main characters – the lovely Alice, the Wicked Fairy, the frightening Captain Hook – come out of the books.

They must warn Natanaël that they are in grave danger and risk disappearing forever, and with them their wonderful stories that have been always entertaining children from all around the world.

To save his tiny friends and their stories, Natanaël is shrunk by the Wicked Fairy and sets off on an adventure! He must bravely face the cunning Ramastou, giant crabs and a hungry ogre, but will he read the magic formula that will save them all on time?
